When I was in grade school I knew I was going to be an artist, and by high school decided that being a graphic designer would allow me to earn a regular paycheck. I took every available art class that was offered. I continued my education at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, majoring in graphic design and minoring in fine art. When I wasn't studying, I would borrow my father's Pentax camera and take it with me on my on my travels.
More that twenty years later, after having a successful career as a graphic designer working for several companies including Belkin and Home Depot to owning my own design company, I have rediscovered my passion for photography. In the past several years, I have become more serious with my photography as I received more request to use and publish my images. I also integrate my design capabilities with my photography for clients who are seeking product shots and advertisements. My most recent graphic design projects include marketing material for Ugmo Technology's and Amen Clinics.
My photography has been featured in Outdoor Photographer Magazine, National Geographic Travel Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, GoHawaii.com, Homeandabroad.com, Laguna Canyon Foundation's website, Orange County Fair, Orange County Register, and Interpretation signs on the Burris Basin Loop, Anaheim Coves Recreational Area.
I am also the winner of Outdoor Photographer's The American Landscape 2012 Annual Photo contest.
